Brian Bowen Smith

Brian Bowen Smith is an American photographer living and working in Los Angeles. He began his career being mentored by fashion photographer Herb Ritts. His work has been featured by publications such as Vanity Fair, Esquire, GQ, among others, and he has worked with prominent fashion brands and within film and television. He began his artistic photography career in 2014, and has since published two books focused heavily on his fine art photography. Many of his artistic series’ are black and white images of women in natural environments, working within themes of dance, nature, freedom, and expression.
