Get Up Stand Up: Artist for Jamaica and LA

Start date Thursday 26 February 2026 End date Thursday 12 March 2026

de PURY is delighted to present, in collaboration with CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) and TBA21 Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary, Get Up Stand Up: Artists for Jamaica and Los Angeles, a landmark benefit auction to mobilize the international art community in response to the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa on Jamaica.

The online auction will launch on Thursday, 26 February at 20:00 PT, exclusively via de-PURY.com for two weeks, closing on Thursday, 12 March at 12:00 PT. Art lovers and patrons are invited to bid on an exceptional selection of over 20 works by leading contemporary artists and rising talents. The auction brings together a powerful contingent of artists whose practices are deeply rooted in Caribbean histories, diasporic memory, and postcolonial realities. Their work, shaped by the cultural, political, and environmental legacies of the region, lends particular urgency and resonance to this effort, underscoring the profound connection between artistic practice and the communities this initiative seeks to support.

Register to bid now to support the relief effort in Jamaica and Los Angeles.
