Papua Indonesia Adventure with Renowned Explorer Johan Ernst Nilson

Spend 11 days for 10 people in West Papua, one of the least explored areas on the planet, with paradisiacal beaches, tropical forests, and some of the best diving in the world.

There are still unexplored areas on our planet, places where people are living in isolation and where endemic species live without human interference. One of those places is West Papua in the Indonesian archipelago between Australia and the Philippines. This is a place where the untouched white beaches meet the green jungles and where you can find plants and animals still unknown to the western world.

During an 11-day adventure departing from Wamena, Indonesia, 10 people will have the unique opportunity to sail on a beautiful wooden sailing vessel together with world renowned explorer and activist Johan Ernst Nilson. This 170-foot sailing vessel has a team of 18 crew with master chefs, massage therapists, jungle guides, diving instructors and security. Each day you can choose between watersports, diving, jungle trekking, relaxing on untouched beaches or enjoying cocktails in your suite. The 5-star accommodation offers Wi-Fi, AC and a 24/7 butler service and the food is prepared by amazing chefs according to your wishes and tastes. The five suites all feature the highest standard in luxury and are built in Indonesian traditional style. If you have never done scuba diving before and want to try, our instructors will help you. The archipelago offers – according to Cousteau – the best marine wildlife experience in the world which you can interact with by scuba diving, fishing, scientific marine studies, swimming with dolphins, whales or Manta rays...the options are endless.

After your sailing journey, you will have the unique opportunity to spend three days with Indigenous Peoples in West Papua. You will fly to the cultural village of Wamena where 4x4s will pick you up and drive you to meet with the community and where you and your friends are invited to spend the day with them and a share a dinner in front of an open fire.

The 11-day adventure for 10 people includes:
