The Tenorio-Miravalles Biological Corridor (TMBC) is a testament to Costa Rica's commitment to environmental conservation. This corridor plays a vital role in fostering connectivity between two National Parks: the Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes, contributing significantly to national conservation initiatives. Within this ecological haven, you will encounter the endangered Baird's tapir, jaguars, over 450 bird species, and key amphibian habitats.

Embark on a captivating tapir-tracking adventure and explore the heart of the forest. As part of our conservation efforts, you'll have the opportunity to plant native tree species that are on the brink of extinction, directly contributing to the preservation of this vital ecosystem. As dusk falls, prepare for a fascinating night walk. This unique excursion gives you the chance to encounter a long list of rare amphibians, including the critically endangered and exclusively found Tapir  Valley Frog. There's also a thrilling possibility of spotting the Baird’s Tapir, the Neotropics' largest mammal, known for its elusive nature. Greet the next morning with an ornithologist's dream: birdwatching in an area boasting over 400 bird species.
